RadioThon

The Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Radiothon has grown to be one of the most successful programs for fundraising and increasing awareness for Children’s Hospital Foundation. Broadcasting stories of medical miracles, straight from the people who experienced them, the iHeartRadio Radiothon has touched the heart of communities all over Oklahoma. Miracle children share their amazing stories of hope as they describe living a life of cancer, diabetes and many other illnesses.

Broadcasting live from the Children’s Hospital Atrium, Thurs. and Fri., Nov. 9 and 10, the iHeartRadio Radiothon will bring together Miracle Kids from across Oklahoma. Each will share their personal story of triumph and strength as they strive to help listeners better understand what it’s like inside our local children’s hospital, as well as how listeners can help kids like them.

During Radiothon, KXY morning DJs Bill Reed and Shawn Carey will broadcast live for two full days. Janet with KJ 103 will join them in the morning and KTOK News Talk Radio Lee Matthews will join them in the evening. Their goal is to help raise awareness and funds to support the mission of Children’s Hospital Foundation – to improve the health of Oklahoma’s children.

Listeners will hear on-air interviews from Miracle Kids who are dedicated to speaking and raising awareness about the importance of research and education programs through fundraising efforts in Oklahoma. The amazing stories of hope and courage from Miracle Children like Samantha will inspire all who tune in and listen.

Listeners are encouraged to call in and make a pledge to support Oklahoma’s kids through Children’s Hospital Foundation. Callers may choose to be a Kids Club Member for $18 a month.
